About this bike
The 2026 Sur-Ron Light Bee X moves to a 72 V platform: a 72 V 35 Ah (2.5 kWh) removable battery, a 10 kW-peak motor and Sur-Ron's new MTPA/MTPV FOC controller. Manufacturer figures: 50 mph top speed, 295 Nm (217 ft-lb) of wheel torque, 130 lb curb weight, 830 mm (32.7 in) seat height.
The Light Bee X defined the light e-moto category and still has the deepest aftermarket of any electric dirt bike. Against the 2025 bike, peak power rises from 8 to 10 kW, wheel torque from 266 to 295 Nm and top speed from 46.6 to 50 mph. New electronics: Eco and Sport modes, five levels of regenerative braking, two-level wheelie control and three throttle maps.
Because the 2026 runs a 72 V system, 60 V batteries, chargers and controllers made for earlier Light Bee X models are not a drop-in fit. Ask us before you order electrical parts.
Forged aluminium double-cradle frame and forged swingarm, 200 mm (7.9 in) of fork travel, and Sur-Ron's multi-link rear end with a fully adjustable reservoir shock. Forged opposed four-piston brakes. Wheelbase 1,255 mm, ground clearance 270 mm, rated load 220 lb. Tyres 70/100-19 front, 3.00-18 rear.
Range: Sur-Ron rates 46.6 mi at a steady 25 mph. Trail range is lower and depends on rider weight, terrain and throttle use. The pack charges from 20 to 80 percent in about 2.2 hours (about 4 hours to full) and lifts out of the frame for charging indoors.
In the box: bike, 72 V 35 Ah battery, 110–120 V charger, keys and owner's documentation. Available in White, Black, Purple and Green.

Free crated freight on every complete bike to any address in the lower 48 (DC included). Bikes leave within 3 business days and arrive curbside in about a week — the carrier calls to schedule delivery. Pick up in Colorado Springs and it is free, with our pre-delivery inspection: uncrated, torqued, charged and test-ridden with you. Reserve bikes ship on the ETA printed above. Wheel sets ship free; other add-on parts ship separately at their normal rate. No shipping to AK, HI, territories, APO/FPO or international.
