RFloXa RAB53RV Rear Shock

The RFloXa RAB53RV is a piggyback-reservoir rear shock with full damping adjustability, built for e-bikes, bicycles, and off-road electric bikes. Available in 450 lb and 550 lb spring rates (265mm).

Note: spring preload is recommended at around 10mm; excessive preload leads to spring deformation and side wear.

It uses an external nitrogen reservoir and an oil-gas separated damping structure, with multi-stage rebound, high-speed compression, and low-speed compression adjustment. A rubber bladder in the air chamber reduces heat-induced damping fade and sharpens small-bump response.

Damping adjustments:

• Low-Speed Compression (LSC): controls response to gradual impacts and low-speed movement - reduces bounce during pedaling, climbing, and rough terrain.
• High-Speed Compression (HSC): controls response to rapid impacts like drops and sudden bumps - keeps the shock from blowing through its stroke.
